Holdex is a full-length insole with molded arch support and a cupped heel, designed to provide extra support and comfort while walking or standing.
Holdex should normally replace your shoe’s existing insole. It is therefore best suited to sneakers, work shoes, boots and everyday shoes with a removable original insole.
How Holdex works
The molded arch support supports the arch of the foot, while the cupped heel helps keep the heel more securely positioned. The design may help distribute pressure over a larger area during walking and standing.

Give your feet time to adjust
The arch support and massage points may feel unfamiliar at first. Start with around 2–3 hours on the first day and gradually increase the wearing time if they feel comfortable.
Stop using them if you experience sharp or increasing pain, numbness or significant discomfort.
How to trim the insoles
- Remove your shoe’s existing insole.
- Place the original insole on top of Holdex and use it as a template.
- Trace the toe area and trim a little at a time.
- Place Holdex in the shoe with the non-slip side facing down.
- Check the fit before wearing the insoles for longer periods.
Tip: Trim a little at a time. Material that has been cut away cannot be added back.

Do I need to remove my shoe’s original insole?
Yes, Holdex should normally replace the shoe’s existing full-length insole. Placing two full-length insoles on top of each other can make the shoe too tight, especially over the top of the foot.
If the original insole is glued in place, Holdex is normally not the best choice for that shoe.
Can they be used for heel pain?
Holdex provides support under the arch and heel and can be used as a comfort insole while walking or standing.
However, they do not treat heel spurs, plantar fasciitis or any other medical condition. If heel pain persists or gets worse, you should seek medical advice.
What do the massage points do?
The raised points provide mechanical stimulation to the sole of the foot when weight is placed on it.
If they feel unfamiliar at first, wear the insoles for shorter periods during the first few days and gradually increase the time.
Is there any difference between the colors?
No. Black, orange and grey have the same construction, arch support, heel cup and massage points.
Can I move them between different shoes?
Yes, if the shoes have approximately the same internal dimensions and both have removable insoles.
Because Holdex is trimmed to match the shape of the shoe, the fit may be worse in a shoe with a different shape or size.
How long do they last?
Lifespan depends on how often the insoles are used and how much load they are exposed to. Check them regularly and replace them if the arch support has noticeably flattened, the heel cup has lost its shape, or the material has become heavily worn.
How do I clean them?
Wipe the insoles with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry at room temperature.
Avoid machine washing, tumble drying, radiators and other direct heat.
Good to know: Holdex is an insole designed for everyday comfort and support and does not treat plantar fasciitis, heel spurs or any other medical condition. If you have diabetes, reduced sensation in your feet or individually fitted orthotic insoles, you should consult a healthcare professional before switching to a standard insole. If you experience persistent pain, wounds, numbness or reduced sensation in your feet, seek medical advice.
