Frequently asked questions
What does an ionic air purifier do?
It releases negatively charged ions into the air. The ions attach to airborne particles, which become heavier and settle onto surfaces rather than staying suspended. The effect depends on room size, ventilation and how many particles are being introduced.
Does it replace a HEPA purifier?
No. A fan-driven HEPA unit removes considerably more particles per hour. Novair is made for small spaces and for people who want something quiet, maintenance-free and out of the way — not as a substitute for a larger machine.
Does it produce ozone?
Ionising devices can generate very small amounts of ozone as a by-product. Use Novair in a normally ventilated room and don't place it right beside your pillow. If you have asthma or sensitive airways, speak to your doctor before using an ionising purifier.
Do I need to change filters?
No. Novair is completely filter-free with no consumable parts. Wipe the exterior with a dry cloth when needed.
How much electricity does it use?
Under 1 watt. Running around the clock all year comes to under 9 kWh, which is a couple of euros depending on your tariff.
Can you hear it?
No — there's no fan and no moving parts. The unit has a small indicator light showing that it's running.
Can it stay on all the time?
Yes, it's intended for continuous use. Unplug it when cleaning and when away for longer periods, as with any electronics.

Email kund@kvalio.se with your order number within 14 days of receiving your parcel, and we'll send you return instructions. You're welcome to open the packaging and examine the product just as you would in a shop. If it has been handled beyond that, we may deduct for any reduction in value.
You cover the cost of return shipping. As soon as the parcel reaches us, your money is back on the same payment method within 14 days. For hygiene reasons, products with a broken seal cannot be returned, and the same applies to special orders.
