A massage therapist works — but that's an hour, an appointment and a few hundred kronor. And the knot is usually back before the next slot.
A massage gun solves it by doing what a thumb does, thousands of times a minute and with a pressure no hand can sustain.
Percussion rather than kneading
The difference from an ordinary massager is the movement. Vibration shakes the surface; a massage gun strikes straight in with short, rapid pulses. That's the motion that reaches deeper into the muscle.
You control how firm it is by varying the pressure and how long you stay in one place. Start light — massage guns feel stronger than people expect the first time.
Six heads — and when to use which
Most people use one head and wonder why the others stay in the case. Here's what each is for:

How to use it properly
- Start on the lowest setting with the round ball head.
- Let the gun rest against the muscle — don't press it in. Its own weight is enough.
- Move it slowly across the muscle, roughly a centimetre per second.
- Stay 15 seconds maximum on any one point, and no more than two minutes per muscle group.
- Work on muscle, never on bone, joints or the spine.
It should feel like deep pressure, not pain. If it hurts, the intensity is too high or you're in the wrong place.
Where not to use it
Stick to muscle. Never use it directly on the spine, on the front or sides of the neck, on the lower abdomen, or anywhere bone sits close to the skin — kneecap, elbow, shin, hip bone.
Don't use it on bruises, swelling, varicose veins, wounds or recently injured areas. If you have a pacemaker, take blood thinners, have osteoporosis or reduced sensation, or are pregnant, check with a doctor first. Children shouldn't use it.

Frequently asked questions
Should it hurt?
No. It should feel like deep, distinct pressure — uncomfortable perhaps, but never painful. If it hurts, the intensity is too high, you're pressing too hard, or you're on bone rather than muscle.
Which head should I start with?
The round ball. It's the all-rounder and the one that suits large muscle groups. The bullet head is the most intense — save it until you know how the gun feels.
How long should I stay in one place?
Fifteen seconds maximum on one point, and no more than two minutes per muscle group. More doesn't give a better result — it just raises the chance of soreness the next day.
Can I reach my own back?
The upper part and the shoulders, yes — 950 grams is light enough to hold at arm's length for a while. The lower back and the middle between the shoulder blades are harder to reach yourself, and there you usually need help.
Is it noisy?
Every massage gun is audible — it's a motor striking thousands of times a minute. It's usable in front of the TV, but it isn't discreet.
Can I use it before training?
Yes. Short bursts per muscle group, around thirty seconds, as part of the warm-up. After a session you'd go longer and slower instead.

Email kund@kvalio.se with your order number within 14 days of receiving your parcel, and we'll send you return instructions. You're welcome to open the packaging and examine the product just as you would in a shop. If it has been handled beyond that, we may deduct for any reduction in value.
You cover the cost of return shipping. As soon as the parcel reaches us, your money is back on the same payment method within 14 days. For hygiene reasons, products with a broken seal cannot be returned, and the same applies to special orders.
