How it works

How to use SnoreShield™

  1. Heat the mouthguard in hot (not boiling) water for about 20 seconds to soften the silicone
  2. Place it in your mouth and gently bite down so it molds to your teeth
  3. Then rinse in cold water to set the shape
  4. Insert the mouthguard 5–10 minutes before going to bed
  5. Sleep
  6. Remove, rinse, and air dry – ready for the next night

💡 Tip: Your jaw might feel a little sore for the first 2–3 mornings – this is completely normal and will disappear as the muscle gets used to the new position. Give it at least a week before you dismiss it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it hurt?
No, but your jaw might feel a little sore or tense for the first 2–3 mornings as the muscle gets used to the new position. This will pass. Some also experience increased saliva production on the first night – completely normal.

Do I have to mold it to my teeth?
Yes, once. It's heated in hot water and molded by biting down – it takes less than a minute and provides a comfortable fit all night.

How often do I replace it?
With daily use and cleaning, it lasts for approximately 6–12 months. Replace it if the silicone starts to wear, discolors, or loses its shape.

Can I use it if I have braces or crowns?
If you have braces, we recommend waiting until treatment is complete. If you have crowns, bridges, or implants – ask your dentist first, as the mouthguard exerts slight pressure on the teeth.

Does it work if I have sleep apnea?
Snoring can sometimes be a sign of sleep apnea, which is a medical condition requiring investigation. If you regularly wake up feeling choked, have diagnosed sleep apnea, or feel extremely tired during the day – speak to a doctor before purchasing this or any other snoring product. SnoreShield™ does not replace CPAP treatment.

How long is the delivery time?

Our delivery usually takes 8-12 business days. Due to high product demand, it may extend to 20 business days. In case of any delays, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We will start processing your order immediately after it has been placed. You have the option to cancel or change your order within 2 hours of placing your order by contacting us at kund@kvalio.se. After this time, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made as the order may have already been sent to our supplier for processing.

However, you can always return the product after you receive it.

How do returns and exchanges work?

We accept returns within 14 days of you receiving your item. To initiate a return, please:

1. Contact us at kund@kvalio.se with your order number and reason for the return.

2. Follow the return instructions on our website and ensure you use the correct address and pay any applicable fees before sending the item back.

3. Return the item in its original packaging and in unused condition.

Please note that some products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons if the packaging has been opened. For exchanges, we recommend that you return the item and place a new order, as this is the fastest way to get the correct product.

What do I do if my order has not arrived within the specified delivery time?

If your order has not arrived within the stated delivery time of 8-12 business days, please follow these steps:

1. Check the tracking information via the link in your confirmation email.

2. Check if the package has been left with a delivery agent or neighbor.
